Within Khan Academy there are 6 levels from Struggling to Mastered. Practiced is the first level attained after answering 5 questions in a row correctly. Using the Skill Progress report on the Dashboard, identify students who are Struggling or Need Practice and create small groups or individual tutoring time.

To progress from Practiced to Level One, Two and Mastered, encourage students to complete Mastery Challenges or assign more difficult concepts by making a coach recommendation.

Check this report daily, filtering by specific skills, to update students' small groups and tutoring needs.

In Matific, there are four simple reports. Select reports at the top after logging in, to view them. The Class performance overview, pictured here, is the most helpful report.

Class Overview

Click on a piece of the pie chart and it will show which students are Advanced, On Level, Need Practice or Intervention.

The Parent Report is a special feature in Matific. To generate a parent report, go to your Students in the top right menu, check the box next to the student name and select parent report. Enter the parent email and select Preview to see what you will be emailing to parents. See a sample Parent Report.

Tip: A nice feature of the parent report is that all activities in the selected time frame are listed with active links. Students can get additional practice by clicking on activities from the parent report.
